Three Score Six.

Three Score Six.

Change Your Life

These are the days of my life so far and I call it Three Score six because it sounds much nicer then 66.

It was indeed a magnificent day, the 5th of June 2016, a day and time in the ‘Present’. Surrounded by my family who told me that whatever I wanted to do would be their command for the day. And since I planned to do absolutely nothing they had not much to fear.

We walked early in the morning, followed by a simple but together Breakfast. Next stop was the garden playing some Ballgames where I did win the Netball Challenge before moving on to some  therapeutic gardening and Board games. Shaking of heads by the grandchildren about my gardening, they went on to make some money, buying property for the next 3 hours via Monopoly.  We had ice cream and cake before Dinner, why not, amidst lots of laughter and love right throughout the day. The family did well to the extent that I got permission to take pictures on the morning walk with my son and daughter walking backwards as they like their privacy. Hardly a phone or gadget inside except to order some food.

Living in the ‘Present’ or the ‘Now’ is most important for anyone because it’s in those days, hours or moments that you experience returned love, a seed you planted when you made a choice of how to live your life. And for me that’s all the time.

Today I am grateful for a new day despite still being sidelined from running, but this too shall pass (very soon).

Jamaica – Island In the Sun – Land we Love

Jamaica – Island In the Sun – Land we Love

Uncategorized

Being married to a Jamaican for nearly 39 Years now it shouldn't come as a surprise that I have come to love nearly all things Jamaican (there are some exceptions) and of course the Island and it's people.

When I grew up as a Child, Jamaica to me meant Bananas and Oranges as well as the Calypso song "Island in the Sun". To think that some fifty years later I would be a Germaican, with a beautiful House on the Beach was a life long Dream.

It has been our Paradise, so beautifully described in the National Anthem as  "Jamaica – Land we Love"

Uncover the Secrets of my New Blue Love

Uncategorized

A few weeks ago I wrote a post namely: Blue is the colour of mine eyes and they must have instilled in me a passion for all things BLUE.

Look through the Panton colours blue, they all have my name written on it. I found about 500 of them.
From blue skies to blue oceans , wallpaper, curtains, furniture , clothes, plants and flowers , crockery and fine china, glass, vases , shoes handbags  and fashion accessories.  Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue.
There are good Blues and bad Blues. I only dwell on the positives.  I am a True Blue ( not in political terms ) someone loyal and faithful. Got Blue Blood in me, inherited from my Heavenly Father, I am  genuine and sincere, and I take my  responsibilities seriously.  One of my Mentors in my previous primaries emphasised on the importance of the Colour Personalities and I know that a great part of me represents the Blue category.

Blue IrisTo crown it all In 1999 Pantone named the sky blue color of Cerulean as the color of the new millennium and in 2008 Pantone selected the color Blue Iris as the 2008 Color of the Year telling us: "Combining the stable and calming aspects of blue with the mystical and spiritual qualities of purple, Blue Iris satisfies the need for reassurance in a complex world, while adding a hint of mystery and excitement."

Blue also conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister, and it is still hence the power suit of the corporate world.

I'm sure that by now you got my obsession with Blue.

There is just one more interpretation and this is the one which plays a big part in my new Love affair. It's the Icing on the Cake for me.

Icing Cake2

Blue is used  to promote products and services related to cleanliness (water purification filters, cleaning liquids), air and sky (airlines, airports, air conditioners), water and sea (sea voyages, mineral water). Blue is linked to consciousness and intellect. Use blue to suggest precision when promoting high-tech products.

Enough said, my new BLUE Love is called PURE LEVERAGE. It's a small, extremely powerful Toolbox with the most essential and foundational tools I need for my Home Based Business as a Network Marketer. Where else can you find

Jamaica celebrated Emancipation Day yesterday. I thought it fitting to bring back a post I wrote last year before returning to the Island.

009Emancipation Day is celebrated in many former British colonies in the Caribbean and areas of the United States on various dates in observance of the emancipation of slaves of African origin.

The Salvery Abolition Act 1833 ended slavery in the British Empire on August 1, 1834. Emancipation Day is widely observed in the British West Indies  during the first week of August.

I am slowly preparing to go back to Las Palmas Villa for my annual stint  to do some Housekeeping, before new guests arrive at Christmas. I m looking forward to it as it will give me a break from a tumultuos year so far.

When I grew up as a Child, Jamaica to me meant Bananas and Oranges as well as the Calypso song "Island in the Sun". To think that some fifty years later I would be a Germaican, with a beautiful House on the Beach, on the same Island was an undreamed Dream. Today it's my Paradise, an island so beautifully described in the National Anthem as " Jamaica – Land we Love "
